I direct UM’s Anxiety Clinic and co-direct its Trauma, Stress and Anxiety Research Group, studying cognition, emotion and brain to understand stress and its detrimental impact on physical and emotional health. Funded, interdisciplinary work seeks to define biologically meaningful ways to quantify stress in epidemiological stress studies.
