Short bio:

I am an ophthalmologist receiving additional subspecialty glaucoma training and health services research training at the Kellogg Eye Center. I hold a degree in public health, and have experience in epidemiology, survey research and clinical study design and data analysis.

Research summary:

I am interested in patient-centered outcomes in ophthalmology. Specifically, I am interested in the development of standardized outcome measures that capture functional impairment among patients with chronically poor peripheral vision. I plan to use these outcome measures in future studies to compare the effectiveness of competing low vision rehabilitation strategies. I am also engaged in the development of novel rehabilitation devices and strategies to improve functioning among this population of patients.
