For the remainder of Mcubed 3.0, cubes can form through an ongoing first-come, first-served phase. Project owners will be able to request a cube beginning on Wednesday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. As long as the three faculty collaborators' home units have enough funding left for tokens, the cube will be granted in the order that requests are received.
Eligible faculty from units with tokens still available (login to view the Status of All Tokens Table) can create projects and invite collaborators to join a team. The ability to request a cube in the first-come, first-served phase will open on Wednesday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m.
A total of 221 cubes have been awarded during Mcubed 3.0 to-date, with 161 cubes awarded during the first cube distribution event in November 2018 and 60 cubes awarded in February of 2019.
If your cube was not awarded during the first cube distribution, please read here for some helpful tips for possible next steps.
The Mcubed 3.0 cycle will run from 2018-2020, with cube distribution beginning in the fall of 2018 and continuing at least through the winter semester. The following links can help you get started. Even better, plan to attend an Mcubed Info Session, or see our overall Mcubed slide deck.
