The major achievement of Dr. Schloss’s career has been the application of quantitative approaches to better understand the role of the human microbiome in infectious diseases and colorectal cancer. He is an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology.
Analysis of host-microbiome interactions; computational microbial ecology.
