Dr. Liu's research interests include scheduling and pricing, specifically those with game issues. He has published in academic journals such as Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Games and Economic Behavior, Naval Research Logistics, IIE Transactions, Operations Research Letters, Journal of Scheduling, European Journal of Operational Research, OMEGA: The International Journal of Management Science, Computers & Operations Research, Journal of Banking and Finance, Computers & Mathematics with Applications, and Health and Technology; and in academic books such as Tutorials in Operations Research, and Wiley Encyclopedia of Operations Research and Management Science. He is on the Editorial Review Board of the journal Production and Operations Management.
